Ihre Sendung ist da!

For the duration of his exhibition »Ihre Sendung ist da!«, Julian Palacz transforms the Kunstverein Baden into a package pickup station for the fictional shipping service DJP. Pickup slips are distributed widely in advance; anyone with one can pick up a package. The act of picking up the package is the performance: ID, scan, signature, handoff – familiar, seamless, real. Anyone who picks up a package becomes a performer themselves. The contents of the packages remain unknown until they are handed over.
