For the project “Content Type Image“ a so called HTTP proxy program was installed on the artist computer. The function of this program consists of saving all content of every HTTP-request on the local machine. Thus every internet page visited is saved in a database, including all texts, pictures, videos, scripts, and so on. “Content Type Image” is a picture book which shows all images the artist has visited in the time period of two and a half months, sorted chronologically. All of the images were resized to fit a grid. Every page of the book holds nearly 300 pictures and the book has 538 pages.
